But that was only a myth, and the Region of Alleos's struggles are real. Pokemon attacking and devouring people is a common sight, whether it be in their natural form or a human-esque form that allows them to better blend in with their prey. The humans are confined to towns and cities that are only slightly safer than the outside world, and becoming a Trainer is regarded as either a death wish or an act of becoming a savior. The Belltower Company also formed, intending to eradicate all Pokemon and Trainers in an extreme attempt to protect their region.
